Kenzo seeks Product Developer in Paris, France. Oversee collection development from concept to production with PLM and ORLI expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor collection development files from sketch through finished production piece, liaising with Style and Merchandising departments to ensure clarity on creative expectations, product details, target prices, and delivery timelines
- Organize sketch presentations with internal workshops and external technical bureaus, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
- Update collection tracking documents and input product information into PLM systems
- Participate in collection fittings and communicate feedback to pattern makers and external technical partners
- Establish and maintain product nomenclatures in PLM, updating throughout the fitting process
- Track material consumption calculations and ensure supply availability or procurement orders
- Launch and monitor strikeoffs and embellishment trials including screenprinting, printing, embroidery, and specialized treatments; track artwork evolution and manage costing through supplier quotations
- Coordinate collection production launches and monitor factory deliveries within agreed timelines
- Submit technical files, patterns, and material specifications to manufacturing facilities
- Verify product conformity prior to showroom placement
- Track and communicate modifications to commercial teams
- Process and reconcile purchase orders across ORLI and PLM systems
- Generate purchase order documents and validate invoices
- Calculate industrial cost prices accounting for supplier minimum order quantities
- Follow up on adjustments during runway presentation preparation
- Conduct normalization fittings with quality assurance; transmit documentation, alerts, and validate nomenclatures for production release
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury fashion house or luxury goods company
- Advanced proficiency with ORLI and PLM software systems
- Solid technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and assembly processes
- Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder collaboration, organizational capability, and attention to detail
