Kenzo — Menswear Development Intern (Ready-to-Wear) in Paris: six-month internship supporting collection development, PLM data and prototype coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist menswear ready-to-wear developers throughout collection development up to normalization for production.
- Maintain and update collection development dossiers in coordination with the design studio, internal and external ateliers, and manufacturers.
- Enter and maintain product BOMs/nomenclatures in the PLM system.
- Coordinate launch, follow-up and receipt of prototypes with external workshops and internal teams.
- Manage shipments and receptions of prototypes and collection pieces, ensuring adherence to sampling schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Inspect received samples for conformity and escalate non-conformities; ensure timing aligns with fitting schedules and the collection retro-planning.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a textile engineering programme (e.g. ENSAIT) or a technical fashion school (e.g. ESIV), ideally in final year.
- Previous internship or first professional experience within a fashion house is required.
- Passion for fashion with a strong product sensibility and attention to detail.
- Proactive, organised team player with strong coordination skills.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English.
