Kenzo in Paris seeks a Men's Ready-to-Wear Designer to lead RTW runway designs with a focus on tailoring and outerwear.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop the men’s ready-to-wear runway collection in accordance with the House's creative and commercial guidelines.
- Lead iconographic research and produce compelling mood boards to establish seasonal direction and references.
- Propose themes and original concepts for each season with particular emphasis on outerwear, tailoring and shirts.
- Translate concepts through all phases from sketch to finished product, ensuring coherence, fit and quality.
- Collaborate closely with the menswear design team, other studio teams and Product Development to ensure successful realisation of collections.
- Manage and attend fittings, adjusting patterns and garments to achieve the intended silhouette and quality standards.
- Support the Head of Menswear in team coordination and day-to-day management of the menswear design team.
- Utilise Adobe programs to produce technical and presentation materials for the design process.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' professional experience as a Men’s RTW Designer within a luxury fashion house or equivalent environment.
- Proven technical expertise in garment construction, with demonstrable experience in tailoring and outerwear.
- Strong fashion sensibility and the ability to advance concepts from research through execution.
- Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to material and finish quality.
- Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.

Experience
At least 5 years as a Men's ready-to-wear designer in a similar role, with specific experience delivering runway collections and technical knowledge of tailoring and outerwear.
Education
Degree or equivalent professional training in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related discipline.
