Kenzo — Paris: Men's Ready-to-Wear Designer (permanent, full-time) to design RTW runway collections focusing on tailoring, outerwear and shirts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the men’s ready-to-wear runway collection in accordance with the House's creative and commercial guidelines, with particular focus on outerwear, tailoring and shirts.
  • Conduct iconographic research and create mood boards and concept proposals to define seasonal themes.
  • Deliver original concepts and translate research into finished garments; manage projects from initial idea through to final product.
  • Collaborate closely with the menswear design team, other in‑house design teams and Product Development to ensure accurate construction, fit and realization of collections.
  • Participate in fittings and iterate on prototypes to achieve desired silhouette, quality and technical standards.
  • Support the Head of Menswear in day-to-day team management and creative direction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience as a Men’s RTW Designer in a luxury fashion house or equivalent role.
  • Proven technical expertise in garment construction with substantial experience in tailoring and outerwear.
  • Strong fashion sensibility with the ability to evolve concepts and produce commercially relevant collections.
  • Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written).
  • Organized, proactive and detail-oriented with a demonstrable commitment to quality and finish.
  • Experience participating in fittings and working cross-functionally with product development and production teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and mentor junior designers; comfortable in a collaborative studio environment.

Experience

Minimum five years' professional experience as a Men’s ready-to-wear designer within a comparable luxury fashion environment, with demonstrable experience in tailoring and outerwear development.

Education

Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Garment Technology or equivalent professional experience in fashion design.
