Kenzo seeks a Knitwear Studio Assistant Intern in Paris for a 6-month internship, supporting the Creative Director in design development and fashion show production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on mood boards and reference materials provided by the Creative Director and studio
  • Update collection plans and technical specifications
  • Develop and refine sketches through hand drawing, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Apply color treatments to technical drawings using design software
  • Prepare presentation layouts and materials for the Creative Director's review
  • Coordinate and prepare fittings and garment evaluations
  • Support runway shows including garment steaming, styling, and general team assistance
  • Provide backstage support during presentations and fashion shows as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (3–5 years) in fashion design or equivalent university qualification
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Preferred: prior experience in a similar studio or design support role
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Autonomous, proactive, detail-oriented, and methodical approach to work
  • Strong curiosity and passion for fashion design
