Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and profit objectives for the department while conducting pertinent commercial analysis to implement strategic action plans (visual merchandising, product initiatives, commercial operations)
- Communicate qualitative reporting and feedback to the team and support functions at headquarters
- Attract, engage, and retain clientele by ensuring impeccable customer welcome and comprehensive service throughout the client journey
- Identify, attract, engage, evaluate, and develop team talent; create personalized development plans and foster career progression
- Motivate and challenge the team through morning briefings, individual check-ins, feedback, and coaching aligned with both qualitative and quantitative objectives
- Ensure team autonomy to guarantee business continuity in all circumstances
- Demonstrate mastery of Kenzo's heritage, brand storytelling, and current market positioning
- Cultivate adaptability and flexibility while managing organizational change and complex situations
- Navigate the maison's organizational structure and develop internal networks across functions (visual merchandising, human resources, etc.)
- Embody an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
- Promote Kenzo's culture internally and externally; ensure store standards reflect brand image (visual merchandising, cleanliness, maintenance)
- Develop deep product and market knowledge (collections, trends, competitors); communicate with fluency in both local language and English
- Master product storytelling and detailed product information (collection, seasonal offerings, composition)
- Cultivate and maintain privileged relationships with personal shoppers, personal stylists, concierge services, and similar partners in the environment
- Master and comply with all procedures outlined in the Store Handbook and local regulations
- Propose procedural improvements to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the retail sector
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and ability to navigate constantly evolving retail environments
- Proven ability to analyze sales metrics and identify commercial trends and opportunities
- Substantiated experience in clienteling practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Fluency in both French and English
