Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, train and continuously motivate sales associates toward achieving and exceeding personal and category sales objectives whilst applying retail excellence
  • Demonstrate leadership on the selling floor by coaching team members and promoting collaborative teamwork across the boutique
  • Manage and lead team efforts in clienteling, including effective resource deployment to promote new client acquisition and retention
  • Meet all business goals as defined by Store Manager
  • Facilitate solutions to customer issues and directly manage escalated complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Support sales staff by processing transactions and packaging customer purchases when required
  • Enforce strict compliance with all company policies, procedures and service standards
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures with accurate reporting as directed
  • Manage supply and stock levels in a timely manner to support operational needs
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by assisting the Stock Associate with category cycle counts and shrink rate management
  • Ensure store visual merchandising standards are consistently met and maintained
  • Review sales data frequently and take action on visual merchandising initiatives to maximize revenue
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching and constructive feedback to Sales Associates based on observations and facts
  • Make recommendations to the Store Manager regarding associate recruitment and professional development
  • Identify associate training needs and implement regular category meetings and training programmes
  • Share responsibility for the P&L performance of the store and execute initiatives to maintain inventory accuracy within company standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a luxury retail environment
  • 1+ years of people management experience
  • Previous work experience with European and/or luxury brands strongly desired
  • College degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends and opportunities
  • Proven experience driving positive and memorable customer interactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Passion to inspire and influence a team with integrity and professionalism
  • Flexibility to work a full retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a luxury retail environment with at least 1 year of people management responsibility. The successful candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial perspective and proven ability to succeed in fast-changing retail environments.

College degree preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 80,000 per annum.
