Kendo (Lip Lab) seeks a Senior Marketing Manager in San Francisco — hybrid role leading 360° marketing, retail activations and budget ownership.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define, lead and execute integrated 360° marketing strategies to achieve brand KPIs and drive consumer growth.
  • Serve as the primary cross‑functional coordinator — aligning paid media, creative, social, influencer, PR, CRM and store teams to ensure on‑time delivery and clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Own Lip Lab marketing budget and lead annual budget planning and reforecasting.
  • Manage external agency relationships (PR and other partners) to amplify brand narratives and support strategic initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver flawless store launch activations (approximately 6–8 per year), leveraging social, influencers and on‑site experiences to generate buzz and traffic.
  • Oversee content planning and execution across website, retail operations and store teams to ensure consistent storytelling and commerce readiness.
  • Lead monthly performance reporting and provide actionable hindsight to inform creative and future planning.
  • Produce persuasive business presentations and materials (PowerPoint) to support leadership and cross‑functional decision making.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally with strong exposure to retail or experiential retail environments.
  • Proven capability managing multi‑channel campaigns across digital, social/influencer, paid media, PR and CRM.
  • Demonstrable budget ownership and experience with marketing planning and spend management.
  • Data‑driven mindset with ability to translate analytics into strategy and optimizations.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator with strong organizational dexterity and attention to detail.

Experience

Minimum of seven years of marketing experience with a track record of developing and executing multi‑channel brand campaigns; prior experience in retail, experiential marketing or store activation preferred.
