Kendo (Fenty Beauty) seeks a Retail Artist in Stratford, London — part‑time 22.5 hrs at Boots, delivering make‑up artistry and driving counter sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional make‑up artistry and product demonstrations to engage and convert customers at the counter.
- Contribute directly to personal and counter sales targets through consultative selling and effective clienteling.
- Build and maintain a loyal clientele through follow‑up, appointment setting and bespoke product recommendations.
- Maintain fluent product knowledge across Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin to advise customers on shade, formulation and routine.
- Represent the brand and adhere to Kendo, Fenty and retailer (Boots/Harvey Nichols) policies with professionalism and integrity.
- Attend initial and ongoing brand training; stay current on product launches, trends and category best practice.
- Ensure impeccable counter presentation: housekeeping, visual merchandising standards and personal grooming at all times.
- Foster collaborative relationships with store teams and brand partners to optimise the customer experience and merchandising execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience within a department store or prestige beauty/artistry brand.
- Proven, high‑level make‑up artistry skills with a demonstrable portfolio of customer work.
- Track record of building and managing a clientele portfolio and meeting sales objectives.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational aptitude and ability to work flexibly to meet retail needs.

Minimum one year of retail experience in a beauty environment or department store representing a prestige/artistry brand, plus demonstrable makeup artistry experience and a history of building client relationships.
