Role & Responsibilities

• Personally contribute to the achievement of brand goals and sales targets through demonstrable makeup artistry and consultative selling.
• Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility at all times, representing the brand in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with Kendo, brand, and retail partner guidelines.
• Build effective, positive, and collaborative relationships quickly with team members and store partners.
• Develop and nurture a loyal clientele base through advanced makeup artistry skills, excellent selling techniques, and service excellence resulting in a flawless customer experience.
• Deliver in-depth and fluent knowledge of makeup products in order to advise customers on the best formulations to suit their individual needs, skin tones, and preferences.
• Attend initial brand training and ongoing professional development to remain current on the latest beauty trends, product innovations, and market offerings.
• Actively contribute to the consistent delivery of housekeeping standards and visual merchandising excellence at the counter.
• Maintain exceptional personal grooming standards that reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a beauty selling environment with a proven track record of sales achievement.
• Previous experience working in a department store or prestige retail environment with a makeup or artistry brand.
• Accomplished makeup artistry background with demonstrated proficiency in application techniques and color theory.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a clientele portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively and respond to customer needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and authentically with diverse customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a beauty or prestige brand environment, with a strong portfolio demonstrating makeup artistry expertise and proven customer engagement capability.

Education

No formal education requirement specified; however, formal training or certification in makeup artistry or cosmetology is advantageous.
