Kendo — Lip Lab seeks a Lip Lab Lead (part-time) in Toronto Distillery to lead Color Experts and deliver bespoke guest experiences. $19–$21/hr + tips.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee exceptional guest experiences: welcome guests, confirm reservations, manage appointments, host parties and resolve guest concerns.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Color Experts through onboarding, ongoing training and performance management to achieve service and sales objectives.
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale operations and appointment scheduling.
- Oversee inventory control and store supplies to optimise stock levels, minimise waste and ensure product quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and loss-prevention procedures.
- Troubleshoot operational or technical issues and implement practical solutions to maintain service continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality or a related customer-facing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality guest service with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated capability to coach and develop team members and to drive measurable performance improvements.
- Capacity to multitask, prioritise effectively and maintain organisation in a fast-paced, experiential retail setting.
- Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift and to lift/carry up to 10–50 pounds; able to perform bending, kneeling and reaching tasks.
Skills
Experience
Minimum two years in retail or hospitality with at least one year in a supervisory or lead capacity; experience using POS systems and managing appointments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in retail, hospitality, business or cosmetology is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 21 per hour.
