Role & Responsibilities
- Guide, inspire, and motivate a team of full- and part-time Makeup Artists, including scheduling, coaching on sales and artistry skills, and setting individual performance targets
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and service excellence; lead the team to create flawless customer experiences and build a loyal clientele base to drive sales performance
- Oversee sales achievement and payroll investment to meet financial objectives
- Develop and execute a strategic approach to building and expanding the brand business within the store environment
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with Sephora management and internal Kendo stakeholders to drive business results and implement best practices
- Create and implement a continuous development plan to refine the sales, artistry, and customer service capabilities of the team
- Manage testers, samples, and non-sellable inventory within budgetary constraints
- Model respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility; represent the brand in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with all Kendo, brand, and Sephora guidelines
- Build positive and collaborative relationships quickly with team members and store partners
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional presentation standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail supervisory experience at account level or equivalent
- Proven track record working in a luxury retail store environment
- Accomplished background in professional makeup artistry with demonstrated expertise
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute clientele-building strategies
- Experience leading and developing staff, including conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to plan strategically and achieve financial targets and budgetary objectives
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
