Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A for Operations across Kendo’s portfolio, owning budgeting, consolidated rolling forecasts and budget revisions for freight, logistics and inventory-related costs.
  • Prepare and maintain a consolidated Operations P&L and ensure alignment across month-end close cycles and forecast submissions.
  • Analyze and report on operational KPIs with emphasis on freight and logistics for US and France distribution centers; identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
  • Support month-end close activities by preparing accruals and journal entries between Operations and Accounting to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on inventory valuation matters, including excess & obsolescence reserves and related analytics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain and Business stakeholders to assess operational risks and P&L impacts and to influence decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, business cases and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in CPG, beauty or retail with a strong focus on operations finance and strategic business partnering.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with planning systems (e.g., Anaplan) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven cross-functional influencing capabilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Positive, proactive and adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of finance experience, preferably within CPG, beauty or retail, with demonstrated experience in operations finance, freight/logistics cost analysis and strategic business partnering.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
