Director of Ecommerce at Kendo (LVMH) in San Francisco. Lead Fenty D2C strategy, P&L, and site operations. $168K–$210K, full-time, hybrid.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build annual and monthly strategic plans for the direct-to-consumer site aligned with brand flagship priorities, financial targets, and customer growth initiatives
- Develop and manage annual profit-and-loss projections, monthly revisions, and net sales forecasts; present financial performance and risk mitigation strategies to executive leadership
- Design comprehensive daily and yearly site calendar planning, incorporating promotional strategies, product launches, and brand content to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), sales dashboards, and promotional campaign metrics on a weekly, monthly, and event basis
- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, CRM, and performance marketing to execute integrated promotional campaigns and A/B testing initiatives
- Develop and execute product launch strategies, promotional frameworks (exclusive offers, bundles, step-up promotions), and contingency plans based on sales trends
- Manage ecommerce platform roadmaps, site experience optimization (including homepage, navigation, product pages, and content sections), and third-party tools such as Dynamic Yield and Bazaar Voice
- Lead content strategy and develop brand storytelling roadmaps including site assets, landing pages, and product detail page (PDP) content to support customer acquisition and retention
- Oversee product categorization, search optimization, and site taxonomy to enhance conversion and customer experience
- Analyze customer feedback through Narvar and other feedback channels; monitor warehouse and customer service statistics to ensure operational excellence
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing team members; establish team organization, roles and responsibilities, and advancement opportunities
- Head special projects to support process improvements and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in ecommerce and site merchandising, preferably within the beauty or luxury goods sector
- Proven track record managing ecommerce operations and profit-and-loss responsibilities with demonstrated success in driving profitability
- Extensive experience with leading ecommerce platforms, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Shopify
- Advanced analytical skills with mastery of web metrics, conversion analytics, and data-driven decision making
- Exceptional ability to bring brands to life through compelling digital storytelling and content strategy
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership through persuasive storytelling
- Demonstrated success developing promotional and merchandising strategies that drive both revenue growth and profitability

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive work experience in ecommerce and site merchandising, preferably in the beauty industry or luxury sector, demonstrating successful advancement with operations and profit-and-loss responsibilities. Experience should include direct oversight of digital commerce channels, cross-functional team leadership, and strategic site planning.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, finance, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 168,100 to USD 210,100 per annum.
