About Kendo

  • Build and manage a national pipeline of enterprise clients, event planners, and repeat-booking accounts; drive prospecting, outreach, and pipeline velocity.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting to execution, including proposals, pricing, contract negotiation, billing accuracy, and payment approvals.
  • Partner with Operations and Store leadership to ensure flawless event execution; oversee event documentation (event orders, run-of-show) and post-event feedback to drive rebook and account expansion.
  • Maintain CRM tracking and performance dashboards with rigor and accuracy to measure KPIs and inform strategy.
  • Act as the primary business development lead in priority local markets (West Coast: LA, Orange County, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Bay Area), personally building and converting partnerships with hotels, universities, corporate offices, event planners and concierge teams.
  • Create and standardize a scalable market development model (process, pricing, measurement) to enable national rollout and coach store teams on local partnership activation.
  • Provide real-time coverage for peak seasons, VIP clients, and corporate overflow in key stores; travel and onsite event support as needed (approx. 10–20%).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B corporate sales, hospitality sales, or event revenue leadership.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in fast-paced environments and managing enterprise-level accounts.
  • Demonstrated strength in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and closing full sales cycles.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and store teams to achieve shared revenue outcomes.
  • Experience executing onsite events and supporting experiential activations (willingness to travel 10–20%).
  • Hands-on CRM experience; beauty or experiential retail background is a plus.
