Lip Lab (Kendo) — Boston Seaport: Part-time Color Expert (Keyholder). $17–$19/hr plus tips, on-site role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized guest experiences from reservation through service completion, encouraging moments to be shared on social media.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including end-of-day (EOD) recaps and secure keyholder responsibilities.
- Manage reservations and guest-flow to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Communicate sales updates, KPI performance and important business information to the team and leadership.
- Adhere to Lip Lab operating standards, GMP guidelines and all store procedures.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager, Leads and colleagues to maintain an inclusive, creative and service-oriented store environment.
- Represent Lip Lab and Kendo values with professional conduct and a guest-first attitude.
Qualifications
- Proven background in guest services within a fast-paced retail or beauty environment.
- Experience entrusted with store keys or demonstrated reliability in cash/asset responsibility (keyholder duties).
- A strong eye for color, artistry and product aesthetics relevant to bespoke cosmetics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, service-driven attitude; leads by example and goes above and beyond for guests and teammates.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand and walk 6–8 hours per shift and to lift and carry items between 10–50 pounds; able to bend, kneel, squat and reach.

Experience
Entry-level: prior experience in guest-facing retail or beauty roles is required, with demonstrated reliability in a fast-paced environment; keyholder or similar store responsibility preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 19 per hour.
