Lip Lab (Kendo) seeks a Part-time Color Expert in Boston Seaport — $17–$19/hr plus tips; guest-facing, creative retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, entertaining and memorable guest experiences from reservation check-in through product creation and checkout, encouraging social sharing of guest moments.
- Guide guests through bespoke shade creation and naming, applying an expert eye for colour and aesthetics to achieve customised results.
- Adhere to Lip Lab and Kendo operational standards, GMP guidelines and store procedures at all times.
- Coordinate closely with the Store Manager, Leads and peers to maintain a collaborative, inclusive and high-energy studio environment.
- Represent the brand with exemplary professional conduct, embodying Lip Lab and Kendo values and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Previous guest- or customer-service experience in a fast-paced retail or beauty environment preferred.
- Demonstrable passion for colour, artistry and beauty; strong visual sensibility for shades and finishes.
- Clear verbal communication and basic written communication skills.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude with a collaborative approach and willingness to lead by example.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays; ability to stand and walk 6–8 hours per shift and to lift/carry 10–50 pounds as needed.

Experience
Entry-level (beginner). Prior experience in fast-paced guest-facing retail or beauty roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
