Role & Responsibilities
- Guide, inspire, and motivate full- and part-time makeup artists through coaching, staffing schedules, and individual sales goal-setting
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and service excellence; lead the team to create a flawless customer experience and build a loyal clientele base
- Oversee sales goals and payroll investment to achieve financial targets
- Take a strategic approach to building and developing the brand business within the store
- Build strong, effective relationships with Sephora management and Kendo leadership to drive business results and implement best practices
- Develop and execute a plan to continually refine the team's sales, artistry, and customer service capabilities
- Manage testers, samples, and other non-sellable inventory within budget

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience at supervisory or equivalent level
- Accomplished, high-level makeup artistry background
- Previous experience in a luxury store environment
- Proven ability to be strategic with strong business acumen
- Demonstrated experience in building and executing clientele strategy
- Ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff, including conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Experience in forward planning and achievement of financial goals
- Strong customer service, clientele, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong commercial awareness
