Kendo (Fenty Beauty) seeks a Retail Artist in London (Covent Garden) — part‑time, 22.5 hrs; confident makeup artist with retail experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer experiences through professional make‑up artistry and product demonstrations at the counter.
- Contribute directly to personal and counter sales targets using consultative selling and clientelling techniques.
- Build and maintain a loyal clientele through follow‑up, bespoke recommendations and appointment management.
- Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge across makeup and skincare to advise customers on formulation, shade matching and usage.
- Uphold high presentation standards: visual merchandising, housekeeping and counter presentation in line with brand and retailer guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with store teams and external retail partners to ensure consistent brand representation and operational excellence.
- Attend initial and ongoing brand training to remain current on product launches, trends and makeup techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a department store or prestige/artistry beauty brand is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience with a demonstrable track record in beauty sales.
- Accomplished make‑up artistry background with practical application skills.
- Proven ability to build and manage a client portfolio.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and professional personal presentation.
