Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to maximize sales, ensure operational excellence and uphold Lip Lab and Kendo standards.
- Drive sales performance by analysing KPIs and business trends (e.g., payroll, AOV), developing action plans and ensuring team accountability.
- Create and manage weekly schedules aligned with sales forecasts and payroll targets; monitor timecards and approve time-off requests.
- Manage guest booking system and party bookings; handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Act as Manager on Duty when required, supervising the sales floor and performing services as a Color Expert to guarantee exceptional guest experiences.
- Recruit, onboard, train and coach team members; deliver on-the-spot feedback and support Leads to build a high-performing leadership bench.
- Support performance management processes with Store Manager and HR, and cultivate a culture of recognition through company programmes.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice and maintain hygiene and safety standards across all store activities.
- Represent Lip Lab and Kendo values through professional conduct and positive team leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' management experience in retail, beauty or hospitality.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and delegate to a diverse retail team; experience with performance management preferred.
- Demonstrated aptitude for driving sales and KPIs through coaching, scheduling and local action plans.
- Availability for weekends and holidays and ability to travel to company events, meetings and trainings when needed.
- Ability to stand and walk 6–8 hours per shift, occasionally lift 10–50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Skills
Experience
Minimum two years of management experience in a high-volume retail, beauty or hospitality environment with a proven record of meeting sales targets and coaching teams to improve performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in retail management, hospitality or cosmetology is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 23 to USD 25 per hour.
