Kate Spade hiring a Temporary Sales Associate in Winnipeg, Manitoba — part-time retail role at Outlet Collection Winnipeg, $16–$18/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence; demonstrate extensive product knowledge across categories.
- Conduct consultative styling conversations to understand customer needs and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade pieces.
- Deliver personalised selling through cross-sell and add-on recommendations; close sales and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Present multiple ways to wear products using creative visual storytelling and styling techniques to inspire exploration of new styles.
- Maintain operational standards including stockroom organisation, inventory replenishment and accurate POS transactions.
- Support omnichannel selling initiatives, including virtual consultation and social-media-driven client engagement.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to contribute to individual and team performance.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication.
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing sales role preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Comfort with omnichannel selling practices and willingness to learn virtual selling tools and social media client engagement.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Physical capability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to navigate stockroom and salesfloor duties.

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail and demonstrated sales results is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 16 to CAD 18 per hour.
