Kate Spade New York in Tsawwassen, Canada seeks a Temporary Sales Associate (part‑time) to deliver styling-led customer service; $17.85–$21.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests warmly; build rapport through active listening and thoughtful questioning.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks and recommend complementary items to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge across all categories and convey brand story through persuasive storytelling.
- Deliver a seamless checkout experience and operate POS accurately; maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade products; encourage repeat visits and nurture customer relationships.
- Support omnichannel selling initiatives, including virtual selling and social media engagement, as required by store needs.
- Perform light physical tasks required by retail operations, including merchandise replenishment and safe handling of stock.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Comfortable learning and applying omni/virtual selling techniques and social media tools to support sales.

Experience
Previous experience working in retail is required; prior experience in fashion or luxury retail and/or personal styling is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary studies in fashion, retail or customer service are a plus.

This position is based in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.85 to CAD 21 per hour.
