Kate Spade in New York, NY seeks a Temporary Sales Associate to support retail sales, client service and merchandising in a flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service that reflects the brand’s aesthetic and client standards.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through active selling, clienteling and timely follow-up.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS), process transactions, exchanges and returns with accuracy and integrity.
- Support visual merchandising and floor standards: maintain displays, ensure product presentation and replenishment.
- Receive, unpack and process stock; assist with inventory counts and back-of-house organisation.
- Adhere to loss-prevention, cash-handling and store safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the store team on client events, promotions and operational tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail sales; experience with premium or fashion brands preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and repeat clientele.
- Reliable availability and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and peak trading periods.
- Professional presentation and understanding of luxury customer service standards.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling accuracy; ability to operate POS systems.

Experience
Preferably 1+ year of retail sales experience, ideally within premium or luxury fashion; seasonal or temporary retail experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or customer service is a plus.
