Kate Spade (Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach) seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in Myrtle Beach, SC (part-time) to deliver styling, sales and omni-channel service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage customers with warmth and expert product knowledge, establishing rapport and understanding needs.
  • Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks, and suggest add-on items to increase basket size.
  • Drive sales through storytelling, product education and sustained customer relationships, including invitations to return.
  • Execute omni-channel selling practices and support virtual consultations as required.
  • Maintain operational excellence: accurate POS transactions, cash handling, stockroom organisation and visual presentation.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs), replenishment and merchandising on the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail experience; fashion or accessories background preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Social media awareness and openness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
