Kate Spade is hiring a Temporary Sales Associate (part-time) in Clarksburg, MD at Clarksburg Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and deliver elevated client service informed by deep product knowledge.
- Conduct consultative styling sessions to discover customers’ preferences and assemble complete looks that integrate Kate Spade product across categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest incremental add-ons and close transactions while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Demonstrate omnichannel fluency by supporting virtual selling and social media-driven customer interactions as required.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including POS transactions, inventory upkeep and visual presentation.
- Provide and receive constructive feedback to support team performance and consistently reinforce customer choices to encourage loyalty.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, peak season and public holidays; ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- English proficiency (local language proficiency acceptable per market).

Experience
Previous retail sales experience is required, with demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets preferred.
