Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, informed customer engagement and personalised styling advice to help clients select and integrate Kate Spade products into their wardrobes.
- Create complete looks, suggest add-ons and use storytelling to drive conversion and average transaction value.
- Operate POS and complete transactions accurately while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, execute replenishment and visual presentation standards.
- Adopt omni-channel selling behaviours including social media outreach and virtual selling techniques to engage customers beyond the store.
- Listen actively, ask insightful questions to identify customer needs, and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and holidays.
- Perform light to moderate physical tasks: lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre around stockroom and sales floor.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; experience in fashion or luxury retail preferred.
- Demonstrable product knowledge and the ability to translate brand attributes into persuasive customer-facing narratives.
- Comfort with omni-channel retail practices and a willingness to learn virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local market language proficiency) and the ability to adapt communication to diverse customers.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; candidates with demonstrated success in fashion or luxury retail and experience delivering personalised styling are preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in fashion, retail or visual merchandising is desirable.
