Kate Spade in Aurora, IL (Chicago Premium Outlets) seeks a Temporary Sales Associate (part-time). Engage customers, provide styling advice; $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating thorough product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Consult with customers to identify needs and provide personalised styling advice; create complete looks and suggest complementary items.
- Drive sales through active selling, upselling and follow-up, ensuring a seamless checkout and post-sale experience.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and combine products to inspire exploration of new styles.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including POS transactions, merchandising and inventory organization.
- Support store business objectives through effective teamwork, feedback exchanges and adherence to company competencies and standards.
- Perform light to moderate physical tasks required for retail operations, including lifting merchandise up to 25 lbs regularly (occasional lifts up to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and stockroom movement.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, peak seasons and holidays.

Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required; demonstrated success engaging customers and driving transactions in a store environment is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
