Kate Spade New York — Temporary Retail Associate (part-time) in Orlando, FL. Provide styling, sales and client service at Orlando International Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers with warmth and confidence, demonstrating thorough product knowledge and brand DNA.
- Perform personalised styling consultations that build complete looks and suggest complementary products to enhance baskets.
- Drive sales through storytelling, proactive clienteling and by converting styling interactions into purchases.
- Execute point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and maintain operational standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Demonstrate omnichannel selling behaviours, supporting virtual selling and social-media-driven client interactions when required.
- Maintain visual merchandising and stockroom organisation, assist with receiving and replenishment as needed.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic periods and public holidays; safely lift, carry and manoeuvre merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; proven comfort with customer-facing roles and transactions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and peak retail periods.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills and direct customer-facing experience. Experience with omnichannel sales or virtual client interactions is desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
