Kate Spade Temporary Retail Associate in New York — seasonal retail role delivering client service, merchandising and POS support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, brand-consistent customer service to drive sales and cultivate repeat clientele.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising and housekeeping to ensure the sales floor reflects Kate Spade standards.
  • Receive, unpack and replenish inventory; assist with stockroom organisation and inventory counts.
  • Engage in clienteling activities — capture contact information, follow up on enquiries and support appointments.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies, store opening/closing procedures and other operational directives.
  • Assist store leadership with high-volume events, promotions and peak-season scheduling as required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable customer service and sales aptitude; previous retail experience preferred.
  • Availability for temporary assignment, including evenings, weekends and holiday periods.
