Kate Spade in Livermore, CA seeks a Temporary Retail Associate (part-time) at San Francisco Premium Outlets — client-facing styling and sales role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests warmly, demonstrating deep product knowledge across categories and representing the Kate Spade brand aesthetic.
- Provide personalised styling advice, build complete looks, and suggest add‑on items to increase basket value.
- Listen actively to customer needs, ask insightful questions, and guide purchase decisions to ensure a seamless checkout.
- Tell the brand story and product attributes to drive sales through storytelling and relationship building.
- Execute day‑to‑day operational duties including POS transactions, stockroom organisation, visual presentation and inventory replenishment.
- Adopt omni‑channel selling practices (virtual selling/social outreach) and support brand initiatives to convert digitally sourced traffic.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak seasons and holidays; comply with physical requirements including regular lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exemplary interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably within fashion or accessories.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and collaborate effectively within a team.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market).
- Comfortable learning and applying omni/virtual selling techniques and social media awareness.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends and holiday periods.

Experience
Prior retail experience is required; demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles and demonstrated professional selling skills are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
