Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, personalised client service to drive sales and foster repeat business in a high-end retail environment.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process payments and manage cash handling and receipts.
- Support visual merchandising standards: maintain displays, replenish floor stock and ensure the sales floor reflects brand presentation guidelines.
- Manage fitting room workflow, assist clients with product selection and provide product knowledge on handbags, accessories and complementary categories.
- Receive, unpack and process inventory; assist with stockroom organisation and cycle counts as directed.
- Contribute to loss-prevention procedures, maintain store cleanliness and comply with company security protocols.
- Support store events, product launches and peak shopping periods with flexible scheduling and cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably within fashion, accessories or luxury segments, preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable customer-service orientation with a polished, professional demeanour.
- Availability for a temporary assignment including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling accuracy; trustworthy with responsibility for transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light physical tasks and lift inventory items as needed.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level to 1–2 years of retail or customer-facing sales experience is typical; luxury or accessories experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Temporary or seasonal retail experience is a plus.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
