Kate Spade in Southaven, MS seeks a part-time Temporary Associate (Stylist) to deliver styling, customer engagement and sales at Tanger Outlets Southaven.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised styling and product recommendations to customers, building looks and suggesting complementary items to increase basket value.
  • Greet and engage guests confidently, actively listen to customer needs, and convert interactions into sales through compelling storytelling.
  • Execute point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining operational accuracy.
  • Maintain visual standards and stockroom organisation, assist with merchandising, inventory replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Adopt omni-channel engagement practices including virtual selling and social-media-driven clienting when required.
  • Provide constructive feedback within the team and participate in continuous learning to strengthen product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Perform physical tasks as needed: lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), bend, climb and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior retail or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and learning omni/virtual selling tools.

Experience

Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred; experience in styling, visual merchandising, or luxury/brand-driven retail environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and deliver high-quality customer service.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certification in fashion, merchandising or retail management is desirable.

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Southaven, Mississippi, USA, with easy access to Memphis.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
