Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confident product knowledge; build rapport to understand individual client needs.
  • Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks, and suggest complementary items to increase basket size.
  • Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and integrate Kate Spade products into a customer’s wardrobe.
  • Manage point-of-sale transactions and ensure a seamless, efficient checkout experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, restock merchandise, and support visual merchandising standards.
  • Drive sales targets through storytelling, proactive clientelling and follow-up invitations to return.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, give and receive constructive feedback, and support peak trading periods and promotional events.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
  • English proficiency (or local language proficiency as applicable to the market).
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; capable of climbing, bending and manoeuvring in a retail environment.

Experience

Prior experience working in a retail environment; demonstrated customer-facing selling experience preferred.
