Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, attentive client service to uphold Kate Spade’s luxury retail standards.
  • Drive sales through active client engagement, product recommendations and thoughtful upselling.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product presentation aligns with brand directives.
  • Support inventory tasks including receiving, replenishment, cycle counts and stockroom organisation.
  • Assist with store opening/closing procedures, loss-prevention practices and daily housekeeping.
  • Contribute to clienteling activities such as welcome calls, follow-ups and appointment support.
  • Adapt to changing priorities during peak trading periods, events and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion, is strongly preferred.
  • Proven customer service and sales aptitude with a measurable track record of meeting targets.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends and holiday trading.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle merchandise and perform light physical tasks.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience

Entry-level to early-career retail experience; typically 0–2 years of customer-facing retail work. Experience within a luxury or contemporary fashion label is advantageous and preferred for seasonal or temporary placements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal retail or sales training is a plus but not required.
