Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, personalised service to clients on the sales floor and across channels to achieve brand experience standards.
  • Process sales transactions, returns and exchanges accurately using point-of-sale systems and maintain cash-handling integrity.
  • Support merchandising execution and visual standards including product presentation, window displays and on-floor replenishment.
  • Manage stockroom organisation, inbound processing, inventory counts and basic stock reconciliations.
  • Assist with client communications, appointment bookings and follow-ups to build repeat business and client loyalty.
  • Escalate client service issues and operational concerns to management and collaborate with colleagues to resolve them.
  • Contribute to daily opening/closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness, loss-prevention and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven client-facing experience in retail or hospitality, ideally with fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset and professional presentation consistent with brand standards.
  • Basic numeracy and demonstrated accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (if based in New York).

Experience

Entry-level to 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service; prior experience with fashion or accessories brands is preferred but not mandatory.
