Kate Spade Acting Supervisor I position in Tsawwassen, BC—oversee retail operations and lead team at luxury fashion retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage sales floor operations and staff during assigned shifts
- Supervise stockroom activities, inventory management, and merchandise organization
- Support the hiring, training, and development of sales team members
- Ensure customer service standards are consistently met and brand guidelines are upheld
- Monitor sales performance and drive results through team motivation and engagement
- Manage opening and closing procedures for the retail location
- Address operational challenges and escalate issues to store management as needed
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute seasonal displays
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or luxury retail environments
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to build and motivate teams
- Demonstrated customer service excellence and sales acumen
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools
Skills
Experience
Experience in a supervisory capacity within retail or hospitality, preferably in a branded or luxury environment. Strong track record of team management, operational oversight, and driving sales results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or equivalent professional development is preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18 to USD 23 per hour.
