Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and team sales performance against KPI targets; analyze sales metrics and implement best practices to improve results and operational efficiency
- Build and retain client relationships through proactive outreach; ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences aligned with Kate Spade service standards
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and brand ambassadorship on the sales floor, setting the tone for strong client relationships and needs discovery
- Coach and develop team members on performance goals; support recruitment, onboarding, role modeling, and ongoing training initiatives
- Provide performance feedback to store leadership; advocate for team members and foster inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding security responsibilities
- Process POS transactions and manage inventory functions including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damage documentation to maintain inventory integrity
- Maintain organized stockroom; direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and social media engagement
- Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty program membership and repeat business
Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role (luxury or premium retail preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated social media literacy and awareness of platform trends
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools; familiarity with clienteling systems
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver both sales floor and stockroom
