Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance against KPI targets; analyze metrics to identify best practices and operational improvements
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and Kate Spade service standards; lead VIP retention initiatives and repeat business development
  • Coach team members on performance goals, sales behaviors, and brand service standards; model Kate Spade's signature 'host of the party' approach to customer engagement
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of team members; provide performance feedback to store leadership
  • Foster an inclusive, equitable workplace culture that empowers teams to thrive authentically
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security (key-holding responsibilities)
  • Manage point-of-sale transactions and inventory functions including transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damage documentation
  • Maintain organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure sales floor availability
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping experiences
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement and capture customer data to support loyalty programs

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management or floor leadership experience in luxury, premium, or comparable retail environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
