Kate Spade New York seeks a Supervisor to lead retail operations at Hudson Yards. Drive sales, client relationships, and team excellence in New York.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance to achieve store KPIs and profitability targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve efficiency
  • Build and retain client relationships through proactive outreach and adherence to Kate Spade service standards; lead VIP retention initiatives and model brand service behaviors
  • Coach and mentor team members on sales goals, performance, and development; support recruitment, onboarding, and role modeling
  • Provide constructive feedback to store leadership on individual performance and advocate for team development; foster an inclusive and equitable culture
  • Execute opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security (key-holding responsibilities)
  • Manage POS transactions and inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Supervise stockroom organization and direct timely replenishment to ensure sales floor availability
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping; promote brand-safe social media engagement
  • Capture customer data to support loyalty program growth and repeat purchase initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role (luxury or premium retail preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work flexibly across peak seasons and high-traffic retail days
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Comfort with POS systems, omni-channel/virtual selling tools, and clienteling systems
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
