Kate Spade New York seeks Supervisor I in Hagerstown, Maryland—lead retail operations, supervise staff, and deliver luxury customer experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate sales associates on the sales floor to ensure optimal customer service delivery and sales performance
- Manage daily store operations including opening, closing, and cash handling procedures
- Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge, brand values, and customer engagement techniques
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure compliance with Kate Spade brand guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stockroom operations, and manage merchandise receipt and placement
- Address customer inquiries and resolve service concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Communicate store performance metrics and staff feedback to store management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience in a luxury or specialty retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead diverse teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service excellence and problem-solving orientation
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform duties that require climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering on sales floor and stockroom

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, with prior supervisory or lead experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or completion of supervisory training programs is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
