Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance to achieve KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices for improved results and efficiency
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and Kate Spade service standards; lead VIP retention initiatives and ensure exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors ('host of the party') to establish strong client relationships and drive needs discovery
  • Coach and develop team members on performance goals; support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
  • Provide performance feedback to store leadership and act as an advocate for team development and career growth
  • Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse culture that empowers teams to thrive authentically
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security with key-holding responsibilities
  • Process POS transactions and manage inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Maintain organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping experiences
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement and stay aware of platform trends
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty programs and repeat purchases

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role (luxury/premium retail preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional detail orientation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff while confidently navigating the sales floor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
