Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations to achieve sales targets and deliver an elevated client experience.
  • Coach, mentor and schedule frontline sales staff; drive individual and team performance through regular feedback and training.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and seasonal floor moves to ensure the boutique reflects brand guidelines and maximises sell-through.
  • Manage cash handling, store opening/closing procedures, POS reconciliation and daily banking processes.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and cycle counts to minimise shrink and maintain availability.
  • Support clienteling activities, cultivate high-value client relationships and coordinate follow-up to secure repeat business.
  • Monitor KPIs, sales metrics and conversion rates; prepare concise reports for store management and escalate issues promptly.
  • Enforce loss-prevention policies, health & safety protocols and exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in a retail or boutique environment, preferably within fashion, accessories or luxury/contemporary brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop small teams, with a focus on coaching and performance management.
  • Strong numeracy and organisational skills, including experience with cash management and basic reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills with a polished, brand-appropriate presentation.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.

Experience
