Kate Spade in New York seeks a Supervisor I to lead boutique sales, coach staff and drive exceptional client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the boutique sales team to achieve daily and monthly sales objectives and KPI targets.
- Deliver exemplary client service by coaching staff in relationship-building, VIP servicing and clienteling techniques.
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, deposit reconciliation and POS supervision.
- Oversee visual merchandising and brand presentation to ensure compliance with seasonal floor sets and brand guidelines.
- Conduct staff scheduling, performance feedback, training, and development to build capability and reduce turnover.
- Control inventory through cycle counts, stock replenishment, markdown execution and shrinkage prevention.
- Handle customer escalations and liaise with regional management on operational matters, sales reporting and corrective action.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail or fashion preferred.
- Authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Proven ability to supervise and develop a frontline retail team with a focus on sales and service excellence.
- Strong numerical aptitude and experience with cash reconciliation and basic P&L awareness.

Experience
Typically requires 2+ years of progressive retail experience, including at least one year in a supervisory or team-lead role within premium or luxury apparel/accessories retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or diploma in business, retail management or fashion preferred.
