Kate Spade in New York is hiring a Supervisor I to lead store sales, clienteling and operations for a premium retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed store sales targets and KPIs while upholding Kate Spade brand standards.
- Deliver exceptional clienteling and in-store service, cultivating long-term customer relationships and repeat business.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, POS transactions and visual merchandising execution.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance coaching and on-the-job training to develop team capability.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, shrinkage control and adherence to loss-prevention procedures.
- Implement promotional activities and merchandising directives from regional management, ensuring visual standards and brand storytelling.
- Prepare and submit operational and sales reports, and provide actionable feedback to district management.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within premium, contemporary or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop frontline talent.
- Excellent interpersonal and clienteling skills; polished presentation aligned with brand standards.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years in retail sales with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role, ideally within premium or contemporary fashion retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or retail/fashion-related credential preferred.
