Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and team sales performance while analyzing metrics to improve results and efficiency against established KPI targets
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, in-store service excellence, and after-sales experiences; lead VIP retention initiatives
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors ('host of the party') to facilitate meaningful customer conversations and needs discovery
- Coach and mentor team members on performance goals; support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development
- Provide performance feedback to store leadership and act as an advocate for team development needs
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture that empowers authentic team engagement
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security (key-holding responsibilities)
- Accurately process POS transactions and manage inventory functions—transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damage documentation—to maintain inventory integrity
- Maintain organized stockroom operations and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives including live-stream shopping and brand-safe social media engagement
- Lead customer data capture activities to support loyalty program growth and repeat purchases
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role, preferably in luxury or premium retail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently with customers and staff while navigating the sales floor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
- Native-level English language proficiency
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); able to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
2+ years in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role, with experience in luxury or premium retail preferred. A combination of relevant education and hands-on experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some post-secondary education in retail management, business, or related field preferred.
