Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance while analyzing metrics and implementing best practices to achieve KPI targets and store profitability
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, exceptional in-store service, and adherence to Kate Spade service standards; lead VIP retention initiatives
  • Model Kate Spade brand behaviors and service excellence ("host of the party"), setting the tone for strong client relationships and needs discovery
  • Coach and develop team members on performance goals; support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives
  • Provide constructive feedback to store leadership on individual performance and development needs; advocate for team members
  • Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture that empowers authentic team engagement
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding responsibilities
  • Accurately process POS transactions and manage inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Organize and maintain stockroom; direct timely replenishment to ensure adequate sales floor availability
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping and brand-safe social media engagement
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty programs and repeat purchase rates

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role (luxury/premium retail preferred or comparable experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to communicate confidently with customers and staff while navigating the sales floor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
