Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and team sales performance while analyzing metrics and implementing best practices to achieve KPI targets
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and service excellence, ensuring exceptional in-store and after-sales experiences
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and set the tone on the sales floor, leading by example in customer engagement and relationship-building
  • Coach team members on performance goals and provide ongoing feedback on individual development needs
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training; foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture
  • Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and key-holding responsibilities
  • Process and oversee POS transactions and inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity
  • Organize and manage stockroom operations, directing timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping experiences
  • Lead customer data capture initiatives to grow loyalty programs and drive repeat purchases

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role (luxury or premium retail preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
