Kate Spade Stylist (Part-Time, Temporary) in Woodbury, NY — $15–$24.25/hr. Assist customers with styling and product selection in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating extensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and pose insightful follow-up questions to discern customer needs and personal style preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and curate complete looks that align with customer wardrobes
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products creatively, encouraging customers to explore and adopt new aesthetics
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, professional checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering repeat visits and brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, POS system proficiency, and accurate transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest, professional manner
- Work a flexible schedule accommodating nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Proficiency in social media awareness and demonstrated willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
