Kate Spade Stylist, Winnipeg, Canada – Temporary Part-Time Position. Engage customers with styling advice and product expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly while demonstrating strong product knowledge across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Listen actively to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade offerings into customers' existing wardrobes
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products, encouraging customers to explore new aesthetic possibilities
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences via POS systems
- Reinforce customer choices and celebrate purchases to encourage repeat visits and brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, brand storytelling, and deep product knowledge across all categories
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandise displays, and inventory management
- Provide and receive constructive feedback in a collaborative, team-oriented manner
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons, and high-traffic days such as public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Awareness of social media trends and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
