Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Temporary Stylist in Vancouver, BC. Provide styling advice, engage customers, and drive sales with strong product knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Listen actively to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand preferences and lifestyle
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting return visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions
- Demonstrate proficiency with omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Provide and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Strong social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days

Prior experience in a retail environment is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate professional selling skills, strong product knowledge, and the ability to build genuine customer relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
